Willoughby Symphony Orchestra breathes new life into Disney’s animated classic, “The Little Mermaid” in a special live event in the Concert Hall, The Concourse, Chatswood.  As the “The Little Mermaid” film plays on the big screen, conductor Craig Dalton will lead a performance of the film’s Oscar®-winning and Grammy®-nominated score synchronized live to film. 

One of the most beloved films and soundtracks, “The Little Mermaid” features songs and score by Oscar®-winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Howard Ashman. With unforgettable characters, thrilling adventures, soaring Academy Award®-winning music (Best Music, Original Score; Best Music, Original Song, “Under The Sea”), “The Little Mermaid” is one of the most celebrated animated films of all time. Venture under the sea where Ariel, a free-spirited mermaid princess, longs to be part of the human world. After bravely striking a bargain with Ursula, a devious sea witch, Ariel embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. With friends Flounder and Sebastian at her side, Ariel will need all her courage and determination to make things right in both her worlds.
