Explore fresh food with all your senses at a fun and relaxed family day on the farm. Create vegetable art, discover weird and wonky vegetables, learn about Australian native foods, and pot up a plant to take home and nurture.

Meet a scientist and ask your questions about the latest food fads.

Discover friendly creepy crawlies in the leaf litter touch tank, and learn how organic farms work with nature to grow good food.

Farm tours will showcase delicious foods from many cultures we can grow locally.

  • Bring your own water bottle, a water refill station will be available

  • This is a family-friendly event and parents must supervise their children at all times.

  • Sydney City Farm is located in Sydney Park, St Peters. The nearest park entrance is on Barwon Park Road.

  • We recommend taking public transport as there is limited parking in the area.

This is an outdoor program running rain or shine. Please bring waterproof clothing and shoes in case of wet weather. For the safety of visitors and volunteers events may be postponed or cancelled in extreme weather.
