Start your new year with fun-filled, free evenings at Darling Quarter. From 9 to 26 January, Sydneysiders can grab their mates, dates, and furry friends to enjoy 18 hit movies in the heart of the city.

The event kicks off on Thursday, 9 January, with an enchanting screening of Wonka to set the tone for a month of blockbusters. Friday brings the breakout hit of 2023, Barbie, while Saturdays are reserved for magical marathons featuring six of the eight beloved Harry Potter films across three weekends. Whether you’re a fantasy fanatic, an action aficionado, or just love a good story, there’s something for everyone.

As always, attendees can register for free unallocated seating and bring their own rugs or chairs. For added comfort, beanbags and picnic rugs are available to reserve for $10. Walk-ins are welcome, but early arrival is advised as seating is first-come, first-served and will close once capacity is reached.

For the first time, Warner Bros. Discovery will offer headsets to enhance the audio experience for attendees. While the movie will be played through speakers for all Darling Quarter visitors to enjoy, 350 headsets will be available each night for those seeking cinema-quality sound.

Make the most of your movie night with dinner or snacks from Darling Quarter’s vibrant dining precinct. General ticketholders can order Click & Collect from favourites like Dopa, Braza Churrascaria, Noodle Face and Gelatissimo. Reserved seating guests can even have food delivered straight to their seats via QR code.

Darling Quarter’s North Village Green is the perfect spot for cinephiles and their loved ones to create unforgettable memories under the stars.

Parking is simple and affordable, with a flat $20 evening rate available at Darling Quarter. Arrive early to explore the reimagined dining precinct, featuring 15 restaurants, al fresco options, and stunning views of Tumbalong Park.

The Warner Bros. Discovery Open Air Cinema at Darling Quarter is located at the North Village Green, 1-25 Harbour Street, Sydney 2000.

General tickets are available from 9AM on Thursday 26 December. To view the entire movie schedule and secure your tickets, visit www.darlingquarter.com. Learn more about parking at Darling Quarter at www.firstparking.com.au/locations/darling-quarter/.
