Australian Progressive Rock sextet Anubis was formed in Sydney in March 2004 by vocalist/bassist Robert James Moulding and keyboard player/guitarist David Eaton, now with Douglas Skene (guitars, also of Hemina), Dean Bennison (guitars), Steven Eaton (drums) and Anthony Stewart (bass). Winning SOUNDS OF ST KILDA | battle of the bands during the St Kilda Festival 2020 as their first public performance, Madam Nightingale (visual artist, lyricist and composer Phaedra Gunn & multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Dean Lombard) were recently nominated for the Artistic Merit award for high skill in performance at Newcastle Fringe festival.
