Vivid Fire Kitchen returns, igniting its new home at The Goods Line with flame-seared street food from around the globe. Come and enjoy the universal language of BBQ, the best NSW produce and the diversity of Sydney’s food scene as we gather round the fire once again.
This year, we've gathered the finest international and local pitmasters like California-favourite Shalamar Lane, Australian culinary legend Christine Manfield, First Nations chef and restaurateur Mindy Woods, local pitmaster Lennox Hastie, Texas based Aussie BBQ legend Jess Pryles, Australian hospo veteran John McFadden and the Apollo Group’s Oscar Solomon. Each night offers a multicultural smorgasbord of choices.
Wander around the flame lit night, the smell of charcoal and cooking in the air, and choose to feast from fire-cooked dishes from around the globe. Tandoor, teppanyaki, First Nations food, tender brisket, charred veggies, and aromatic satay to name a few. Plus, cult-gelato favourite Messina will be scooping up nostalgic favourites at Messina Milk Bar for a post-dinner sweet treat. There will also be a bar available to wash down your meal with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink.
But that's not all – Vivid Fire Kitchen also offers a chance to dive deeper into the art of fire cooking with live demonstrations. Here, leading chefs reveal techniques and secrets, offering a unique insight into the magic of cooking with fire. While Fireplaces adds flame throwers, fire-sculptures, fire pits and more to the already bustling market atmosphere.
Don't miss this opportunity to explore the world through its flavours, all brought together under the stars at The Goods Line. Gather with us around the fire, as so many communities throughout history have before us, and enjoy a feast of culture and connection.
