Vision to Form is an exhibition at The Shop Gallery bringing together the work of six women artists from Ku-ring-gai Art Centre.
The exhibition celebrates storytelling through material. Each artist begins with a vision shaped by personal history, observation and place, transforming experience and vision into form through paint, clay and mixed media. The works act as visual narratives—stories told not in words, but through surface, texture and process.
The exhibition highlights both individual perspectives and collective dialogue, revealing how women artists respond to their environments and lived experiences through thoughtful observation and creativity. Together these works celebrate artistic excellence, collaboration and the vital role of women in shaping local cultural life through stories made visible and tangible.
While each artist speaks in a distinct visual language, shared threads emerge. Nature, identity and belonging recur as quiet but powerful motifs, reflecting the ways women artists respond to their environments and inner worlds. Together the works reveal how memory and imagination are shaped by the hand, and how making becomes a form of reflection, communication and connection.
The artists invite you to engage with them and their creations in a visual and tactile experience throughout the week and at a special event to be held on 28 February 2026 from 2-5pm.
Unless otherwise marked, all works are available for sale.
