Close your eyes, and click your heels together three times.

Matt is a 50 something year old gay man and he has a lot to unpack. Part memoir, part performance poetry, part history lesson, this world premiere from actor Matt Young (Heart of the Man, Lumber) will have you longing for the "bad old days" of gay life from the 90s til now. Come remember the stories of our collective gay experience.

This collaboration from queer neuro-diverse director Dan Graham, and gay American-born actor Matt Young, has been in the works for almost a decade. By looking inward at Matt's lived experience of his gay identity, the team hope to discover universality in the wider LGBTQIA+ community. Expect to be entertained, moved and possibly educated, by this personal and hilarious memory play, written specifically for Qtopia Sydney.

Presented by Matt Young and Dan Graham.

Accessibility: The Substation can only be accessed via a steep flight of stairs. Should you have any concerns about accessing this venue, please contact rniven@qtopiasydney.com.au
