Sustainability in business is no longer just a nice-to-have, it is becoming a license to operate. Are you ready?

Do you see sustainable business practices as an opportunity or as intimidating? Consumer demand and mandatory sustainability reporting are on the rise. Those who can't navigate this new landscape may risk falling behind competitively or losing their jobs to those who can. Join Portugal-born Afonso Firmo, environmental engineer and co-founder of sustainability software company NetNada, for an expert rundown on carbon measurement.

Afonso specialises in technology that tackles the complex problem of sustainable business practice. In this talk, Afonso shares his learnings from working with hundreds of companies. He’ll help you measure your business’ carbon footprint and take practical action inside your organisation.

He is a serial entrepreneur, business and innovation academic, volunteer lifeguard, and recipient of an Australian Global Talent visa at 25. As a migrant, Afonso leads the community-based Sydney Climate Crew and is ambitious about using cultural and technological lenses to democratise access to sustainability.
