OzHarvest is thrilled to announce, 'Unite to Feed Australia LIVE', a spectacular fundraising concert with Presenting Partner Woolworths. The concert celebrates 20 years of OzHarvest’s tireless work to feed people in need across Australia and shines a spotlight on the nation's hidden crisis: food security. The event aims to raise crucial funds to provide meals for Australians struggling to make ends meet.
Hosted by Channel 7’s Johanna Griggs and comedian Jimmy Rees, this one-of-a-kind event will bring together some of Australia's much-loved artists to raise awareness and crucial funds. The line-up includes performances by (in alphabetical order) Courtney Act, William Barton, Daryl Braithwaite, William Crighton, Jess Hitchcock, Felix Riebl (from The Cat Empire), Lior, Danielle Spencer, Dylan Wright and more artists yet to be announced.
OzHarvest Founder and Visionary-in-Residence, Ronni Kahn AO, spoke about the importance of uniting the community to tackle the hidden crisis of food insecurity:
This is a critical moment for Australia. In 20 years of running OzHarvest, I’ve never seen so many people needing our help – often for the first time in their lives. We want to bring everyone together to ignite change, raise awareness and crucial funds to address this national issue. ‘Unite to Feed Australia LIVE' is more than a concert—it’s a call to action! We’re incredibly grateful to our supporters and these amazing artists who are giving their precious time to make sure no one goes hungry.”
Thanks to the generosity of a dedicated community of supporters, every ticket sold will go directly towards putting more meals on the table for vulnerable Australians. Presenting Partner Woolworths, alongside bp, Suncorp Bank, Ticketek, Supergiant and Eat the Elephant have joined forces to ensure all proceeds from ticket sales will help make a tangible difference in people’s lives. All participating artists are generously donating their time for the cause.
Tickets are on sale 10 am Thursday 12 September via Ticketek - don’t miss the chance to be part of this unforgettable event and make a difference to help address food insecurity in Australia.
