"The podcast showcases local Sydney artists hidden from mainstream audiences ... At the Uni Tunes live show, this palpable desire for connection between the artist and their newfound audience is amplified beyond the boundaries of podcasting, answered by the interactive performances and on-stage conversations that take place after each act." – Zara Upfold (Honi Soit)
At Uni Tunes: Live At The Metro, you'll hear from the best that Eora/Sydney has to offer the world of music, with six curated artists engaging with the audience through both concert and conversation. Between each show-stopping performance, the artists will be heard from directly, interviewed on stage by Archie & Fynn. The student-run podcast is brought to life in a unique hybrid event that shatters the boundaries of live gigs and broadcasting.
From Triple J-approved indie-pop, electronic dance, and punk-rock to hyper funk, neo-soul, and R&B, there is certainly music for everyone at Uni Tunes: Live At The Metro, a night that celebrate Eora/Sydney's diverse musical palette and undeniable talent.
“We love those big mainstream acts because when we listen to them, and then we hear their podcasts, we meet them. It’s no longer just this deity, it’s this person that’s speaking to you and it’s beautiful. It’s great for Uni Tunes to facilitate that." – River Langford (Honi Soit)
