In the languages of the Bundjalung, Gamilaroi and Wiradjuri, Boomalli means "to strike; to make a mark". Boomalli is the longest running Aboriginal owned and run arts organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting NSW language group artists.

During Craft Week, Boomalli will be hosting an exhibition in collaboration with Artists from Umbarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre titled Umbarra (Black Duck) Takes Flight! The exhibition is a joint exhibition featuring artists from Yuin/Ngarigo language groups and Boomalli artist members.

Visit Boomalli's gallery, studio and retail space in Sydney's Inner West. Boomalli's gallery shop has a diverse range of items available for sale including art, ceramics, jewellery, homewares, books, and clothing, all created by Aboriginal artists and designers.

Boomalli hosts regular exhibitions and community events in Leichhardt and across Sydney.

This event is part of the Sydney Craft Week Festival 7-16 October 2022.

SCW is an Australian Design Centre initiative. View the complete festival program.
