Don't miss the first screening of the thought-provoking documentary 'Mariupol. Unlost Hope', scheduled to take place on May 26th at Dendy Cinema in Sydney. The film uses audio recordings of eyewitness testimony from two men and three women who were living in Mariupol when the Russian invasion began on February 24, 2022. Mariupol, once a bustling city of 541,300, was devastated by the Russian siege, resulting in the deaths of 21,000 citizens. The city remains in ruins, lacking electricity, gas, and running water. Furthermore, 43,000 Ukrainian citizens from Mariupol have been deported to Russia or Russia-occupied territories.
