Try an e-bike, free, and experience how it can change the way you get around the city. Join us at Harry Noble Reserve, Erskineville and borrow an e-bike for a ride around the local area.

You and your family can try out a range of bikes from Lekker, Lug+Carrie and Omafiets. E-bikes range from lighter commuter e-bikes to e-cargo bikes that are perfect for the school run or shopping trips.

Our experienced bike riding guides will be on hand to show you all the new and established local cycleways. You can even join a free guided ride using cycleways, shared paths and quiet streets through Alexandria, Waterloo, Eveleigh or Sydney Park.

Guided rides will leave from Harry Noble Reserve. The route and duration will vary (expect around 20 minutes of ride time). Bookings are recommended:

  • 1.00pm (SOLD OUT)

  • 2.00pm (SOLD OUT)

DIY test rides are also available if you do not want to join a guided ride - no booking required.

There'll be free coffee for the first 100 people who ride - get in quick! Enjoy garden games (like giant Jenga!) for the whole family. Our friendly bike professionals will be there to answer your bike riding questions and tune up your bike.

If you'd like to borrow an e-bike, please note:

  • Photo ID is required.

  • You must be 12 years or over to borrow an e-bike.

  • People under 16 years olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Helmets are provided.

  • Time limits apply to DIY test rides. Please speak with staff on the day.

  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before ride start time to borrow a bike from any of the companies.

  • All e-bikes meet Australian Government requirements for permitted e-bikes.
