Kings Cross Library
Kings Cross Library
50-52 Darlinghurst Road, Potts Point NSW 2011
When

Wednesday 26 March from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Join Inner City Legal Centre and a panel of proud transgender community members as they share personal stories of living, loving and working in the local community. The discussion will explore the reality of living authentically as a transgender person in 2025 and the ongoing fight for true equality for the transgender community.

Panel members include:

  • Chantell Martin (She/Her) – Chantell is a proud Maori trans woman, hailing originally from Aotearoa/New Zealand. She has a long history of working in the community, holding positions at SWOP, ACON and the Gender Centre.

  • Skye Paez (She/Her) – Skye is a proud trans woman living in Sydney. As a performer, flight attendant and activist, she speaks about trans acceptance to ensure the next generation of trans and gender diverse people live a life free from discrimination and harm.

  • Jeremy Moineau – Jeremy is an actress and advocate for the trans community. She has walked from the catwalks of NYC to the front steps of the White House for human rights. She is now reshaping DEI policy in the corporate world, all while balancing on her stiletto tipped-toes.

  • Katie Green - Katie is the CEO of Inner City Legal Centre, which provides statewide specialist LGBTIQA+ and sex worker legal services. She has a long history working in the area at the supervised injecting centre and Walla Mulla Youth Services. Katie is cisgender.
