Hear University of Sydney researchers, academics and alumni share their big ideas at Raising the Bar.
In Sydney, millions of litres of water are released into the ocean every day. This “wastewater” is largely untreated, carrying a complex mixture of chemical and microbial contaminants.
Join civil engineer Professor Stuart Khan as he explains why wastewater is, in fact, a rich resource. From finding better ways to purify and retain the water, to saving the important and finite nutrients within it, this talk explores the challenges and opportunities surrounding Sydney’s water management.
