The Chairs are Valerios Calocerinos on double bass and Brian Scales on vocals, acoustic guitar, flute and shakuhachi.
Folk-tinged jazz and Latin or jazz-tinged folk, eclectic repertoire from Gershwin to Sting with a smattering of originals. Forward motion, jazz harmony and the subtle beauty of acoustic instruments – that’s The Chairs.
