Anna Couani is a visual artist and writer who runs The Shop Gallery in Glebe with her husband, Hilik Mirankar. She enjoys mixing things up in her practice, often blending painting and printmaking techniques to create unique, experimental works.

Ann Leahy is a printmaker, eco volunteer and language enthusiast. Her prints are inspired by wildlife along the Cooks River and her travels abroad. She works with lino, photopolymer, etching and monoprints, often hand-colouring the final pieces.

Diann Payne is a printmaker and photographer who combines her original photos with techniques like photopolymer, monotype and collagraph. Her work draws from both the natural and built environment, with a focus in this show on nature’s small details.

Lenore Bassan is a printmaker who teaches at Willoughby Arts Centre. Her recent work explores personal stories through plants and objects linked to loved ones. She uses linocut, woodcut, drypoint and collagraph, and also creates artist books from her prints.

My Le Thi is a multimedia artist. She has shown work worldwide and collaborated with artists and community projects from the streets to Parliament House. Her paintings for this exhibition focus on human interactions and nature, using symbols such as ladder and lotus to express hope and survival.

Opening event 2pm 16 August
