About Syrenka:

The Polish Folkloric Ensemble ‘Syrenka’ from Ashfield, Sydney, has a 56-year legacy of dynamic performances. With over 100 dancers, Syrenka is one of Australia’s largest Polish dance ensembles, performing at major events like the Sydney Opera House opening in 1973 and the 2000 Olympics. They’ve also showcased at PolArt festivals and international folklore festivals. Known for their authentic costumes and live music, Syrenka aims to promote Polish culture and educate youth on traditions and language. Their performances feature vibrant costumes, acrobatics, singing, and storytelling, offering audiences a joyful and cultural experience.
