Sydney World Film Festival is back!

This year, we will be screening in-person at Palace Central, as well as streaming a small online program. We've selected 43 international and local (short and feature) independent films, documentaries, experimental films, animated gems, and music videos. Check out the full program.

Tickets for the in-person screenings are only $8 and include a free drink at the bar. (Free tickets are available for students, seniors, and unemployed guests.) Tickets available online only. Book your seats now.

Sydney World Film Festival discovers, supports and develops new talent in filmmaking, providing a platform for emerging and established filmmakers from around the world. Recognising the important role independent films have in the history of filmmaking, storytelling, and culture, the festival wants to help empower the next generation of artists. Sydney World Film Festival is an annual event showcasing independent films with an edge.
