On April 16th, 2025, City Recital Hall will welcome Marc Broussard for his first-ever performance in Australia, a momentous occasion for fans of the acclaimed soul singer. Known for his powerful vocals and masterful blend of rock, blues, R&B, funk-pop, and soul, Broussard has captivated audiences worldwide.

Born and raised in Louisiana, Broussard honed his craft from a young age under the guidance of his father, Louisiana Hall of Fame guitarist Ted Broussard, and the vibrant Lafayette music scene. His major-label debut album, Carencro, propelled him into the national spotlight with the hit single "Home" and established him as a leading voice in contemporary soul music.

In 2024, Broussard embarked on an Anniversary Tour to celebrate 20 years since the release of Carencro, performing the album in its entirety along with beloved covers from his S.O.S. series. This special performance at City Recital Hall is part of that tour, offering Australian audiences a rare opportunity to experience his soulful artistry live. Don’t miss the chance to witness Marc Broussard’s unforgettable performance, where the spirits of classic R&B, rock, and soul are channelled into contemporary terms, creating a night of music that will resonate long after the final note.
