This is your incredible invitation to a Soiree Musicale featuring world class soprano Clarissa Spata, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s first violinist Alexander Norton and international composer, pianist and conductor Luis Saglie performing for you in the heart of Sydney.

There are 3 opportunities on Wednesday 28 April cocktails, dinner and performance from 6pm tickets are $120 .

Then 6pm Saturday 1 May tickets and a complimentary drink are $30.

And finally the matinee at 11am Sunday 2 May tickets including Devonshire Tea are $10.

Luis Saglie: The great Samuel Adler states, “Luis Saglie is one of the most respected composers, pianists and pedagogues on the musical scene today”. Luis Saglie has composed an opera, “El día de la liberación” which received its successful premier in Vienna, Austria under his musical direction. He has also composed symphonic works, concertos with soloists, chamber music, music for diverse solo instruments as well as film scores and musical theater.

Clarissa Spata: She began her journey towards an operatic career when, at age 11, she became a part of the Opera Australia’s Children’s Chorus from 1993 to 1996, performing in several seasons of Cavalleria Rusticana/I Pagliacci, Turandot and La Bohème. Clarissa won the prestigious Opera Foundation Australia’s Lady Fairfax New York Award to study with teachers and coaches from The Metropolitan Opera and The Juilliard in New York, and The Australian Singing Competition’s Royal Overseas League Bursary Award which allowed her to travel to London to study, while attending rehearsals at The Royal Opera House. Clarissa, being a versatile Soprano, has appeared in many concerts and tours, spanning genres from Opera and Classical music, to Music Theatre and Jazz.

Alexander Norton: Alexander Norton grew up on a farm near Orange in NSW and began learning the violin at the age of ten with John Gould at the Orange Regional Conservatorium. Tognetti. His solo performances include the Mendelssohn concerto with the Sydney Youth Orchestra (2003) and Beethoven's Romance No. 1 with the Sydney Sinfonia and Richard Gill (2006). He has given recitals in the South Melbourne Town Hall and the Art Gallery of NSW, and has been a member of the Sydney String Quartet since 2003. He has performed and toured with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra since 2006.
