SMH journalists on their time in Ukraine

The Sydney Morning Herald’s acclaimed war photographer Kate Geraghty, and Foreign Affairs and National Security Correspondent Anthony Galloway, have just returned from assignment covering the invasion of Ukraine.

Join Kate and Anthony to hear about their time on the ground in Ukraine, from the capital Kyiv, to the besieged city of Kharkiv, and the Donbas region bordering Russia where fighting began in 2014 — leading to what is now the largest conflict in Europe since World War II.
