Simon Tedeschi AM Performing ‘Fugitive’

Music and language meet as equal partners in this live performance built around Sergei Prokofiev’s Visions Fugitives and excerpts from Simon Tedeschi’s memoir Fugitive.

Moving between piano performance, spoken word and reflection, Tedeschi interweaves sound and story to explore memory, exile, inheritance and the ways art carries personal and historical experience. Intimate and formally adventurous, the evening unfolds somewhere between concert, literary performance, and conversation.
