Tuesday 14 May 2024 from 5pm to 8pm

Join us for an inspiring evening on Tuesday 14th May at KPMG Sydney offices on Level 38 as part of Climate Action Week Sydney with leading Sustainability Leaders and Climate Tech innovators. Could startups be the secret weapon to navigating the many challenges facing corporates on the path to Net Zero?

We’ll explore how industries can catalyse innovation in the Australian Climate Tech sector by becoming first customers. With over 600 Climate Tech innovators in the country, these solutions could accelerate our journey to a greener future.

There will be an opportunity to network over drinks and light refreshments to form valuable connections following the sessions.

Session 1: Understanding Barriers, Seizing Opportunities

Step into the narrative from industry, a Founder and an investor – who will share their stories:

For Founders:

- The importance of achieving early pilots and key challenges faced in securing initial pivotal customer relationships

- Experiences within Australia versus global markets

- How we can foster stronger collaboration with corporates and industry leaders

For organisations:

- Risk mitigation when engaging with early-stage businesses and the benefits and challenges of exploring new technologies

- How procurement policies can be adapted to enable successful pilots

- Understanding what the minimum viable stage of development is required for innovators to foster strong collaboration with organisations

- The role of corporate innovation

Session 2: Tales of Triumph

Join us for a fireside chat featuring two soon to be announced corporates and paired Founders who have successfully collaborated on pioneering new technologies. Walk away with actionable insights armed with knowledge to take back to your organisation.

Why am I being asked to "Register Interest" to attend this event?

Our aim is to ensure we curate the room with a good mix of Industry sustainability leaders and innovators to ensure maximum impact from this event. The aim is that everyone will walk away better informed and ready to collaborate.
