Craving a strong foundation in security but unsure where to begin?

The Security Society of UNSW (SecSoc) and SECedu are thrilled to announce their collaboration on SCONES 2023, a welcoming security conference tailored for students across all levels of knowledge.

Our mission is to spark student curiosity, engagement, and passion in cybersecurity. We aim to achieve this by fostering a vibrant community of students, educators, industry professionals, and security aficionados.

SCONES serves as a stepping stone for students from all disciplines who are keen to explore the world of security. It provides the perfect primer to the more technical conventions like BSides, and promises to deliver a vibrant and positive atmosphere.

The conference will take place in-person at the UNSW John Niland Scientia Building on July 18th, 2023, from 10am to 5pm.
