Open Stage is usually held on the third Tuesday of every month at the Sappho Bar, but we’re shuffling things around for September!

There are ten 8-minute open-performance slots available (though we often have room for more!). We encourage all sorts of performers to take part in our Open Stage nights, from music to comedy, poetry to dance.

If you’re just starting out or want to test new material, this is an ideal platform as it is supportive and fun. More experienced artists and more polished material is also welcome and encouraged.

Sign-up for the open section starts at 6:30 on the night, and the event kicks off at 7. Entry is free, and the bar will be open from 6pm selling food and drinks.
