Put a Bird on It – paper lantern workshop

Celebrate National Bird Week 2026 with us and add some bird joy to paper lanterns in this fun and easy workshop.
Are you ready for the Aussie Bird Count, enchanted by eastern rosellas, mad about maggies or besotted with bin chickens? Don’t get in a flap, we have everything you need to ‘Put a Bird on It’ and take your lantern home to display – just add light.
Spread your wings and create your own design or stay with the flock and choose from the available templates. With guidance from expert tutors, you will decorate your lantern in no time at all. Full instruction is provided. Please note, the lanterns do not include LED lights.
