Playgroups in the Park

Playgroups in the Park event is designed to engage with families in the Redfern, Waterloo and surrounding areas, offering them platforms in which they can seek support and engage positively with the broader community.

The event will be held in a central, public space at Redfern Park, where it is accessible to families, particularly those with prams. There will be stalls offering information and services to community members.

The project will also contain many activities suitable for children, such as soft play section, bubble show, zumba dance, engagement sport and interactive puppet show. We also have a group of local service providers on site who can bring you the most updated information.

In the past, Playgroups in the Park has successfully encouraged community participation, emphasised the importance of interactions with other families, and provided individuals and families with the knowledge of family and children services in the local area that can cater to their needs.
