Play Con is Australia's premier and largest dedicated board game and tabletop gaming convention — an annual 3-day event held at the ICC in Darling Harbour, Sydney.

What does Play Con offer?

Massive Game Library & Free-Play Area: Gain access to an massive library of 500+ gaming titles available to browse and play across open gaming areas. 

Designer Alley: Local designers can apply here to share their creations, and attendees can playtest new games with the designer themselves, discover some unreleased gems, and even give feedback that helps with the design process!

Tournaments, Large group games & Panels: We have tournaments for Magic the Gathering, Catan, Ticket to Ride and more! For the non-competitive folks, we have huge facilitated large-group games for 20+ players, as well as panels from industry professionals and popular game designers.

Exhibitors & Publisher Areas: Browse exhibitor the latest board game titles, or head over to the publisher area where they demo and present the latest just released or soon to be released board games.

Puzzles, role-playing games, miniature painting, prizes & more!: None of the above grab your interest? We have all sorts of games and puzzles. Our annual ConQuest is a series of puzzles and cryptic clues to break a mental sweat. Fancy something more creative or relaxed? We have a whole host of miniature tabletop games, roleplaying games, painting workshops and more.
