Join Peter Godwin in conversation with multi-award winning author Charlotte Wood as they discuss his artworks in the survey exhibition Peter Godwin: Space, light and time.
Peter Godwin studied at the National Art School, Godwin lectured in painting, drawing and printmaking there for many years. He was awarded the Gruner Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in 1979 and again in 1985. He has been a recipient of the Mosman Art Prize and has also hung as a finalist in the Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW.
Charlotte Wood is the author of seven novels and three books of non-fiction. Her new book Stone Yard Devotional was described by the UK Guardian as ‘a quiet novel of immense power’ and has been praised by authors Anne Enright, Tim Winton, Karen Joy Fowler, Hannah Kent and Paula Hawkins among others. It was shortlisted for the 2024 Booker Prize, among other awards.
