Don’t miss one of Asia’s leading action stars. Be engrossed by this powerful choreographic work by Australian-Vietnamese performer, filmmaker and martial artist Maria Tran, presented inside the Outlaw exhibition in the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ new North Building.
Performed by Tran and world-class martial artists Kimberley Vo and Therese Chen, with live Taiko drumming by Haruka Kunimune, Ritual is a contemporary fusion of martial-arts styles that pays reverence to the cultural traditions embedded in this ancient practice.
