Patrick Ness, the much-loved YA and children’s author of the Chaos Walking trilogy and A Monster Calls, comes to Sydney to discuss writing masculinity, LGBTQIA+ stories and adapting his work into Hollywood films.

His latest YA work, Different for Boys, is a moving LGBTQIA+ story that explores the intersections of masculinity and sexuality.

Dive into Patrick’s work in this special event where he’ll unpack his varied and award-winning work, covering everything from dragons, death and the Doctor Who spinoff Class.
