Pajaki: Make a Paper Chandelier

Join us for a joyful workshop exploring the traditional Polish folk art of Pajaki, intricate decorative chandeliers made from paper, straw and string.

Originally created to brighten homes during long winters, Pajaki are a celebration of colour, texture and hand-crafted beauty. This workshop is a chance to revive this age-old craft by learning a range of papercraft techniques and exploring both traditional and non-traditional materials to create your own unique hanging sculpture.

Whether you love symmetry or organised chaos, there is endless room for creative reinvention. Expect bold colours, surprising textures, and a table full of lovely materials to snip, twist and transform into something truly special.

What's included:

A 3-hour creative guided workshop with expert instruction and all your gorgeous high-quality materials provided including:

  • A treasure trove of wooden beads, tassels and embellishments

  • Paper straws and natural beans for threading

  • A kaleidoscope off tissue papers

  • coloured papers and craft punches

  • Textured yarns

  • All the necessary tools: scissors, threads and needles
