The focus of this class will be on the student’s individual interests using references from the history of art to inform individual practice.

Depending on the interests of the class we will explore landscape, still life, portraiture and abstraction. Transcriptions, collage and mixed media techniques will also be discussed. Students will be encouraged to explore and experiment with their own style through an understanding of traditional and contemporary techniques.
