Shakespeare’s Othello – a gripping tale of love, betrayal and jealousy! Explore how the most famous prop in Shakespeare, a handkerchief, brings Othello’s downfall as he fights to hold onto his honour and the woman he loves.

Damien Ryan has worked on Othello for nearly 30 years. Don't miss this opportunity to join him and a group of exceptional actors as they unlock the story, characters, dramatic structure, themes and theatricality of this powerful Shakespearean tragedy through scene work and analysis live on stage at Seymour Centre.

"The Shakespeare Symposiums are thoroughly engaging and their ability to communicate complex ideas to the students in a clear and entertaining way is amazing! The Seymour Centre is a beautiful venue and their organisation and communication are excellent. Highly recommend." – Katherine Howe, Head Teacher English at Terrigal High
