Enjoy a unique and exciting concert with a complimentary refreshment in the beautiful ambience of the Grand Hall, Mosman Art Gallery as we celebrate the lives of legendary Queens in opera and song.

Whether beloved or betrayed, feted or feared, triumphant or tragic, the magic and mystery of the great Queens, the Lady Monarchs remains.

Hear music for the Queens in operas by Britten, Berlioz, Handel, Donizetti, Gounod, Massenet, Purcell, Pasitieri, Verdi, Wagner and Wormser.

With a text written by Regan Flor, narrated by Tom Hamilton, our six singers, directed by Rebecca Moret, will portray famous sovereigns from Fairy Tale and Ancient Times, to Mediaeval Scotland and on to the Queens of the Tudor and Stuart Houses.

Presented by The Opera and Song Collective – Artists passionate to bring fine music to you.

Sopranos: Louise Keast, Samanta Lestavel, Laura Scandizzo, Emily Turner

Mezzos: Jill Sullivan, Margaret Trubiano

Pianist: Simon Kenway
