Soul-bearing improvisation, exuberant affectation and rococo flair. The Baroque goes ballistic in this unmissable world premiere performance.

Following sell-out performances in Sydney and Melbourne in April, Omega Ensemble return for two final encore performances, featuring music by Bach, Gorecki, and a world premiere by Caroline Shaw.

Hailed as "Australia's most exciting and forward-thinking chamber music ensemble" (Limelight) and “the best chamber music in town” (Sydney Morning Herald), Omega Ensemble have earned an international reputation for their high-impact and high-energy performances that seek to reinvent the classical music concert hall for contemporary Australia.

With a mission to champion extraordinary musical talent, and stand at the forefront of new musical directions, the Ensemble's notable collaborators have included Eighth Blackbird, Nico Muhly, Caroline Shaw, Christopher Cerrone, Holly Harrison, A Far Cry, and Thomas Gould.

Omega Ensemble will perform at Phoenix Central Park on Thu 5 October 2023.

Free tickets via ballot only.
