OLGA is the story of a young female Ukrainian gymnast who is exiled from her homeland to chase her Olympic dreams, played by real-life former Ukrainian national team member Anastasia Budiashkina. Her mother, an investigative journalist who is left behind, faces danger and violence in her work challenging the brutal Yanukovich regime. The historic events depicted in the film are intricately linked with the subsequent Russian invasion, providing rich insight into the current situation in the world - through the lens of mother and daughter - and within the world of elite sport

The film will release on 4 May in Australia, with Charity Screenings on 3 May in support of UN Women Australia and the Emergency Ukraine Appeal helping women and girls in Ukraine.

The film won the SACD Prize at Cannes Critics Week and was the Swiss entry for Best Foreign Film at the 94th Academy Awards.
