Passionate about creating liveable, resilient places, Sam is an urban planner, community engagement specialist and place-maker. As the Manager of Urban Planning and Policy at JOC Consulting, he has led the development of various place-led strategies for Local Governments across Australia, including a number of Night Time Economy Strategies, policies and discussion papers. Sam has also been an outspoken advocate for Sydney’s Youth and is a social media sensation, regularly creating viral content on TikTok and Instagram about urban planning issues across Australia. His ongoing advocacy led him to be awarded the NSW Young Planner of the Year 2022.
Josh is the Founder and Director of Consume, a pioneering town planning consultancy renowned for its specialised services tailored to the vibrant hospitality industry of New South Wales.
With a career spanning both sectors, Josh blends his technical knowledge of urban planning with his keen understanding of the hospitality sector's unique needs, making him a trusted ally for hospitality businesses looking to navigate the NSW Planning System.
Through Consume, Josh has championed a client-centric approach, offering bespoke solutions that not only work to optimise the regulatory frameworks but also challenge the status quo.
