About Marta Nowicka, soprano: Marta Nowicka is a Polish soprano based in Sydney. Renowned for her captivating voice, emotional depth and dynamic stage presence, she has established herself as one of the leading singers of her generation.
She graduated from Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna in the field of opera and musical drama, where she published the thesis “Vitellia oder der Triumph der Hysterie”.
Outside the opera stage, she is a dedicated singing teacher. She regularly conducts master classes and workshops, inspiring new generations of opera talents.
In December 2023, the Australian Government granted Marta Nowicka a Distinguished Talent Visa for her extraordinary vocal and teaching achievements.
She is currently collaborating with musicians from Sydney and Melbourne, exploring and challenging her multifaceted voice with different musical genres and styles.
About Bradley Gilchrist, pianist: Bradley Gilchrist is highly sought after accompanist, chamber musician and vocal coach based in Sydney.
Bradley has been a concerto soloist with the Slovakia Philharmonic and the Odessa Philharmonic Orchestras and has given numerous solo and chamber music recitals across Australia and New Zealand, in South Korea, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom. Bradley has broadcast for the ABC Young Australia programme, ABC Classic FM, Radio National and Fine Music FM.
Bradley has been repetiteur and pianist for WA Opera, Opera Australia as well as many chamber and emerging opera companies. Bradley has also worked in musical theatre and cabaret, as a pit musician, vocal coach and musical director.
Bradley leads a busy life as a freelance accompanist and vocal coach for auditions, recitals, recordings, broadcasts and concert performances. He is Music Director of the Young Artist Programme at Pacific Opera and Music Director at Australia’s oldest Music Club, Music at Manly.
