Part of NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week Possum Skin Cloak Workshop

When

Thursday 11 July 2024 from 5pm to 7pm

NAIDOC Week is coming up, and we're having a cozy fireside chat about possum skin cloak making! Join us for a warm and friendly gathering where we'll hear from senior cloak makers.

The cloak makers will take us through the history of possum skin cloak making and the link back to the East Coast area. Learn about this incredible tradition, its deep connection to history, and how it's being kept alive today.

Plus, we'll have some stunning possum skin cloaks on display for you to admire up close and learn all about their designs, stories, and family traditions.

This free event is happening on Thursday 11th July from 5pm to 7pm. Register now to save your spot and be one of the first 25 to get a free hot drink on us!

It's going to be a fantastic way to connect with culture and community. See you there!
