This July, Mutti – Italy’s No.1 tomato brand – is taking over Sydney’s cult favourite, Fabbrica Pasta Shop, with a deliciously cheeky two-day experience celebrating its most passionate fans. Introducing: Mutti Confession Sessions, a pop-up packed with pasta, passion, and a whole lot of tomato-fuelled love.

Swing past Fabbrica and you won’t miss it. The iconic venue will be dripping in signature Mutti red. At the heart of it all? A confessional booth ready for Muttiholics to step inside, draw the curtain, and reveal their most outrageous, heartfelt or hilarious Mutti secrets.

From getting stamped with Mutti tattoos, bulk-buying every tin on shelf, Mutti Polpa champagne towers at weddings, to licking the bowl clean and saving every red tin like fine art, if you love Mutti – you’re already in the club. If you confess your fandom? You’ll be rewarded with a rich, steamy bowl of Napoletana pasta using Mutti Polpa, tossed through Fabbrica’s house-made casarecce – a match made in heaven. And for those who haven’t had the chance to try Mutti yet, fear not, Mutti x Fabbrica goodie bags will be up for grabs so you can get a taste too.

Once inside the booth, guests will even hear from Mr Mutti himself, guiding them through their confession.

And here’s how it works:

  • Every hour, the first 15 guests will be invited to enjoy an exclusive dine-in experience – an intimate moment in a transformed Fabbrica, where passion for Mutti meets premium pasta.

  • A takeaway kiosk will be open all day to keep the line moving – with pasta and passion served to-go for anyone game to confess.

  • Can’t stay to confess? No problem. Guests in a rush can still grab a limited-edition goodie bag, filled with everything needed to recreate the moment at home – including Mutti Polpa, a recipe card for the ultimate Mutti Napoletana pasta, and for the first 500, a limited Fabbrica pasta pack.

No confession, no pasta? Well… that’s the deal. But if you’re not quite sure what to say, we suggest you try the pasta first and then tell us how it made you feel. (Did you lick the bowl clean? We’ve all been there.)

This is about real fans, real stories, and a celebration of those who know that not all tomatoes are created equal.

And if you miss the event, don’t worry, you can contact the Mutti Confessions hotline at +61 488 186 084. And to continue the Mutti magic at home, just look for the signature red cans at all leading supermarkets nationwide.

Buon Appetito!
