Mrs Macquarie’s Point is a large garden area that hugs the harbour on the edge of the Botanic Gardens and provides a great vantage place to be on New Year’s Eve and enjoy the fireworks.

Mrs Macquarie's Point Gold is seated on the beautiful vantage point of Mrs Macquarie’s Point, connected to the lush expanse of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Mrs Macquarie's Point Gold is on the most north-easterly part of Farm Cove which looks out over the bustling harbourside vistas including the Harbour Bridge, Fort Denison and the Opera House and has wonderful opportunities for views of the 9pm and midnight fireworks.

Mrs Macquaries Point Silver provides a beautiful, relaxed garden for your New Year’s Eve celebration. Silver GA tickets have access to bathrooms, free drinking water, bars serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a wide range of Sydney’s famous food vans

Mrs Macquarie's Point Gold Ticket:

This area has wonderful opportunities for fantastic views of the 9pm and midnight fireworks. The Gold area has excellent views with a few tree canopies. Minimal areas of the site will be restricted viewing due to tree canopies. Gold tickets provide the best vantage points.This area has scattered trees which are the perfect respite for a hot summer’s day.

Entry is open from 4pm for patrons to pick their prime spots. This area is first in, best seated! (Please see site map for location) Gold tickets have access to bathrooms, free drinking water and a bar just for them serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Gold Ticket holders will be able to purchase light snacks from the bar area inside the Gold Area, however for more substantial food items, patrons will be asked to visit the wide variety of food trucks located in the Silver Area.

Mrs Macquarie's Point Silver Ticket:

Mrs Macquaries Point provides a beautiful, relaxed garden for your New Year’s Eve celebration. (Please see site map for location). Silver GA tickets have access to bathrooms, free drinking water, bars serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a wide range of Sydney’s famous food vans. Entry to this area is permitted from 3.00pm.

As Mrs Macquaries Point has a wide range of tree canopies, there are areas with restricted viewing. The best viewing areas in the Silver area are taken on a first come basis. The Royal Botanic Gardens cannot be held responsible for restricted views and no refund will be given.
