It all started in 2015, when David Adelson met William Mendelbaum in a jam.

The interaction between them on the musical level, but also on the human level, lead to the birth of the “MENDELSON” project.

This project finds its originality between the experimentation of William Mendelbaum through jazz harmony, improvisation, his taste for electronic music, and between the rhythmic richness of David Adelson in the sound, especially in his special approach between “hip hop”, “beats”, “groove” and rhythms from world music (Maloya, Gnawa, Afro).

Searching for modernity, he uses synthesizers, pads, but also acoustic instruments (drums, piano). A very creative project, with lots of different influences, where improvisation plays an important role!
