Wednesday 18 June from 3:30pm to 5:30pm
Pine Street Creative Arts Centre jewellery tutor Susanna Strati is joining us for this special workshop exploring mixed media jewellery making techniques.
You will use pre-cut textured metal pieces in a mash-up with materials from our Makerspace to construct striking jewellery pieces such as earrings, pendants or brooches. In addition to metal elements, you can explore making unique wearable pieces using pre-cut plywood, bright coloured acrylic and leather.
Using simple hand tools, you will learn innovative techniques to upcycle offcut materials from the Makerspace and learn basic laser cutting and jewellery making techniques and see our laser cutter in action.
No prior experience is needed - just bring your creativity!
What you’ll take home
1-2 pieces of metal and acrylic laser cut jewellery
