Come join us for a delightful talk with MasterChef Australia's Brendan Pang! He is excited to visit the Korean Cultural Centre Australia, flying all the way from Perth to share his genuine love for Korean flavours and give you an authentic taste of his passion.
Prepare to dive into Brendan's kitchen secrets as he shares his two favourite Korean recipes, such as 'Brendan Pang's Korean Beef Bibimbap' and 'Brendan Pang's Kimchi Jeon'. You will hear about his own culinary journey with Korean food, where he will spotlight ingredients like kimchi, gochujang, sesame oil, and more.
Brendan is going to open up about how and why he fell in love with Korean flavours, offering insights into the elements that have sparked his culinary curiosity. This promises to be a warm and informative chat with Brendan Pang, so be sure not to miss this chance to hear his candid thoughts and experiences! Also, it will be followed by a short Q&A from the audience as well.
About Brendan Pang
Brendan Pang is Perth-based chef and he has always been passionate about cooking and sharing food with those around him. He recently competed in MasterChef Australia 2018 and returned in 2020 in the ‘Back to Win’ series. His food was highly praised by the judges for cooking dishes influenced by his Mauritian heritage and love of seafood. This experience changed Brendan’s life and helped him realise the reality of being able to share his love, passion and excitement for food with the rest of the world.
