Drop-in

Contribute to a collaborative zine inspired by the The National 4: Australian Art Now exhibition at the MCA.

Read all about it! We're inviting young people aged 12–21 to contribute to 'The National News' during this free, drop-in workshop with Sydney-based print studio The Rizzeria.

Add your own drawings, report on your favourite artwork from _The National 4: Australian Art Now, _and get some hands-on experience creating a collaborative zine with other young creatives.

Every participant will be eligible to receive a limited edition print copy of the final creation. 'The National News' will also be available online in the Young Creatives Zine Library.

Persons under 18 years require permission from a parent/guardian.

Register now (preferred) or sign up at the door.

About Making Time

Making Time is a free workshop series for young people aged 12–21. Hosted by the MCA Youth Committee, these not-just-workshops are a safe space for young people to gather, make, play, question, share and deepen their understanding of contemporary art and the art world.

About The Rizzeria

The Rizzeria is a 100% volunteer-powered printing co-op based in Sydney. They teach and support people to learn and experiment with risograph printing with classes, an open print studio and community events.

Access support

The MCA welcomes all visitors and is committed to making its programs and services accessible to everyone. Would you like to request additional support? We can provide specific support for family members with physical, intellectual, learning and sensory access requirements.
