Please come along to hear a discussion between Rebecca Kobrin and Mae Ngai about her new book, The Chinese Question: The Gold Rushes, Chinese Migration, and Global Politics (2021).
Mae M. Ngai is Lung Family Professor of Asian American Studies and Professor of History, and Co-Director of the Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Race at Columbia University.
Rebecca Kobrin is Russell and Bettina Knapp Associate Professor of American Jewish History at Columbia University.
