To celebrate the Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival in 2024, China Cultural Center in Sydney, Australian National Maritime Museum, and Xi'an Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism will jointly present the Grand Tang Culture Carnival on 24th February.

Featuring a selection of traditional instruments, opera, dance, calligraphy, painting, incense art, cuisine, Tang Dynasty costumes, recreational activities and intangible cultural heritage from the ancient capital Xi'an, the carnival combines performances, sightseeing, interaction, and cuisine, offering a spectacular and lively experience.

It will present an extravagant feast of Tang Dynasty charm for the Australian public, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the cultural charm of the Chinese New Year and the profound heritage of the ancient city Xi'an.
