Darling Harbour is hosting an epic celebration to help you bring in the Year of the Snake in style. Catch the traditional Chinese lion dancing performances, where an ornately decorated lion moves to a vigorous drum beat to bring good luck and fortune for the Lunar New Year. See them in all their glory as they roam around Darling Harbour.

Here's when you can catch a performance: 

Wed 29 Jan - Opening Ceremony

  • Time: 10:30am - 11:00am 

  • Location: Chinese Garden Forecourt & Garden*

*Note: An entry fee is required for those wishing to follow the performance into The Chinese Garden of Friendship

Sat 1 Feb

  • Time: 10:30am – 11:00am 

  • Location: Darling Harbour and Chinese Garden Forecourt 

Sun 2 Feb

  • Time: 10:30am – 11:00am 

  • Location: Palm Grove 

Sat 8 Feb 

  • Time: 10:30am – 11:00am 

  • Location: Chinese Garden Forecourt

Sun 9 Feb

  • Time: 10:30am- 11:00am 

  • Location: Chinese Garden Forecourt 

Sun 9 Feb - Closing Ceremony Dragon Dance
